How to use Fishmox?

I'm wondering what the dosage is for using Fishmox for chickens, ducks, and peafowl. I want to be able to have an antibiotic on hand.

Dosage of amoxicillin may vary depending on the various links you read. Plumbs Veterinary Manual lists dosage for chickens as 125-250 mg given orally twice a day for the average size 5 pound chicken. Give it for 10 days. Casportpony says her vet recommends giving 57mg per pound twice a day. Amoxicillin does not mix well in water, so it is given orally and can be put in a small amount of food.
