How to view attachments while editing draft article.

I'm trying to write an article and I saved all my pictures in the order I want them, but when I open up the post to edit, all I see are attachment numbers. Is there any way to turn those attachment numbers into pictures in the editing function? It will take me FOREVER to write if I have to look at the preview to see what picture is next, write about the picture, save, and look at the next picture in the preview. Plus, I sometimes need to see 2 or three pictures in advance so I can talk about issues in one picture that are addressed in a later picture. This is a pretty detailed tutorial so I'm close to maxing out the picture limit, which also enhances my frustration with not being able to see the pictures in edit mode.

I want to see them in line with the text as I write, like when you first add them into the editor. They weren't uploaded in the order I want to use in the text.

I found a work around. I copied the pictures from the preview and pasted them over the attachments. When I do that, they show up as pictures in the editor.

The neat thing about this work around, once I did it, the pictures now show up in the editor whenever I go in to edit.

Sure, I'll create a fake article and delete it so I can show you what I saw. I'm almost done my Franken-bator article and don't want to mess with it.
