How to wire a thermostat

i have a thermostat out of a hova bator that has three wires coming from it. 1 red, 1 whatie, and one black. How would i wire this??

i would say the red and black wires are the switching wires (but you need to test this you can use a battery and a bulb all in series, then force the stat on and off to see the bulb come on and go off) if you need any more help let me know.
