how to worm goslings for gizzard worms?

Yes, isn´t it ridiculous the things we can´t do anymore?
Boy ain't that the truth

Sorry, I can´t remember what it is you´ve been feeding them?  They can´t be kept like chickens.  They need to be out on grass with mostly greens to eat, and a little of the waterfowl feed if it´s available, otherwise a little unmedicated chickcrumb with niacin added, but mainly it´s greens that they need.  Ideally, a little run that can moved onto a fresh piece of ground every day.  The you can clean up the poops that they left the day before, and so on....
this feed was on sale for buy one get one free. it did not have the nutrition facts, but it was labeled premium gamebird feed, so i went ahead and got it. i have raised goslings on a twenty two percent and never had problems before, but it turns out this was only fourteen percent. ive quickly switched back to the old way and ill never buy that again and i have it to my adult chinese geese. thatll teach me a lesson on trying something new. from now on, i only buy stuff that tells me exactly whats in it. im sure the greens are no problem since the little ones live to go out to them during the day and feed them all kinds of grass.

Well, we live and learn, eh? Hopefully the goslings will do ok now.

i sure hope so. i didnt spend $100 on them for nothing. if you dont mind, i will definitely let you know if they have any more problems.
my first goslings were raised on 18% feed last year. ive been doing good until now (hopefully, it will get better now). i was with a friend in the next town and had put back money to buy feed at my other go-to feed store already. transportation is a royal pain right now, and i had no ride to my go to place. i has been out of feed since the day before, and really needed some. the feed store in this town is very expensive. something i can normally get for $12.50-15.00 cost $18.00-200 up there. i buy different things for my animals at once, so that is a significant difference. the chick starter was cheap, but affordable and at 18% to, however, the only non-medicated bag they had was a $10.00 five pounder. the old stuff was on sale when i found it having to look for other options, and this is how i got stuck with it. i should had listened to the feeling in my gut telling me no.

But you don´t need so much feed for goslings...give them grass, greens, fruit...so much cheaper and so easily available....

i did not know that. ive always gave them these 22% meat bird crumbles, since that seems to work well for them. i was thinking about taking them a leaf of romaine lettuce to help them get a nutrient boost. i can already tell the toulouse are starting to grow again just by gauging through holding them. i thought they have to have high protein to grow.

A leaf? a leaf of lettuce is nothing. They need a number of whole lettuces every day, or equivalent. If you want to give protein, it´s only for the first three weeks.

i usually let them out on a pasture when they get about two months old. i dont have an available pen right now, so i cant put them in a pen yet. its far to dangerous out in the open. theyve never had a problem with my feed before. its supposed to have all the things they need. my goslings last year were all raised on this to and did fine until they were of age to live on the pasture.
