Who are you talking to? MrsPeters? if us in general then I'll start I have 2 Production Toulouse one is a gosling not sure on sex thinking gander, other goose, then I have an Embden gander and a American Buff gosling [female] Love them all.
When we went to pick up our 2 goslings I saw White Chinese for the first time up close and in person only in pics before and i was amazed at how small they are. I guess I was so use to my Embden gander I just didn't think about it much. Pics don't help either.

mine are the heavy Chinese they should get up to 40-44 pounds is what i read on the Internet and they were all that was offered at our local feed store, but i was thinking of ordering some Toulouse... but what do the American buffs look like i have a buff orpington duck that i got by accident but i like him so much i am trying to find him a lady duck to breed with lol, i love the buff coloring

all the breeders and feedstores here sell only chinese. thats also all i could find on craigslist. i prefer the traditional looking geese, of greylag origin. embdens and toulouse are big ones in that class, and i decided on those. despite the fact that they are supposibly the most popular breeds in the country for both domestic and commercial purposes, i miserably failed to find any in my area. as a result, i had to order mine from a hatchery last month. i found one with free shipping that was one of the only ones that still had them. they had a minimum order of eight goslings, so i ordered three embdens, three toulouse, and topped it off with two roman tufteds (although they have me only one tuft and a buff by accident). i like that breed to, so no problem. i really wanted to add some variety to my gaggle with this order, so i forgave them and didnt say anything!!!

Which ones have died bravevline?

Yes, it´s possible, but depends if the ground they´re on is likely to be heavily infested...also, if the breeder regularly worms (like, before they start breeding), then there shouldn´t be much of a problem with tiny ones. Best to only worm goslings if they seem under the weather and you think this could be a reason. Worm when older is fine, though. Oh, and ACV in their water from tiny can also help... they say it makes a less desirable environment for the worms.......
(Teri) What is ACV????
