These people were on the end of the second row right near the building. They only had two lambs, I assumed they prbably sold the ewe.. and they did have some goats but they were in seperate cages. Dog type kennels.

I forgot to mention.. I saw a golden phaseant pair... I am not too into phaseant.. they are a pretty bird.. but oh my..

that was beautiful!

I really did enjoy looking and learning about everything..
I finally met my first lion headed rabbit... I still need to do my homework, but it seems that may be the fiber rabbit for us.. what a nice rabbit!

How I wish the fencing fairy would come down with the Brownies late in the night and I will awaken to a fully functional farmette

IN 26 turns into rte9 50 miles.. poof your in Hoopeston straight shot.. can't believe you have never been to the sweetcorn capital of the world!

Years ago when this show first started, it was a show for a pigeon club and it has developed since then. Did you see alot of wood objects, cages, nest boxes, etc.

Thanks,

Jeff

Jolly... I didn't know it was the sweet corn capital, interesting.... didn't know where it was until I almost sold some hay last fall to someone just across the boarder in Hoopston.

When I went to Purdue I decided the best way to 41 was to go straight west on 26 to 41. bad call, 26 went up and down and around and then did it all over again, road wasn't all that either. That was the only time I went west of 26 I guess it traumatized(sp?) me. So nothing against hoopston(maybe some sarcasm against the Peoples Republic of Illinois...).but not hoopston-ians....

I do love sweet corn though...

well now, depending on your hay prices we may have to meet.

And I always thought 26 was a beautiful drive.. but I have never done it towing anything.. or in snow.. just beautiful sunny days on business trips.

And YES, we are the sweetcorn capital of yes.. the world!! well use to be, but still hold the title.. and have quite a large festival every year on labor day weekend.. very large and well known beauty pagent with the winner going on to miss usa, I believe... girls from all over the country representing each state participate to become miss sweetcorn..
