how we did our cabin coop

here's how the notches look, the end log from opposite side is to fit in here n no gap or end showing,that is a problem here n there, router bit kept working loose.

here is one not deep enough, notice gap n u can see edge of log, will have to chink these a lot to keep out water.

corners on house done the same way as coop but on 10" scale, Hubby's family built it by hand and brother in laws made sure we repeated the how to on coop

UPDATE! coop been out of barn maybe a month, I warning hubby we may need bigger one come may.muhahahaha!!

Love the coop style - if you get a bigger one i will take that one off your hands - lol ...... You guys did a great job

thanks!! ups or fed ex?? lol!! its 8'x12'! really hope I can talk the guys into oh maybe 12'x 16'.then this could house small or timid fowl.

update!! user name changed also!! coop has electricity now, one standard light fixture n one outlet. plans for cabin coop #2 in '14 10'
