Haha you people on here are a bunch of laid back people haha. Well I let the girls out and they went straight for the few little weeds I had and digging for bugs. But they first had to do a perimeter check and hop up on my flower pot to see what grubs were in there and they found a tasty little slug that they had to cackle over

They are quiter when they are out of the chicken tractior too

Just look out for those darn hawk who are protected!

My barred rock hens were extraordinary flyers!They regularly flew over 4 and 6 foot high fencing. They also flew to the top of our 6 ft shed and from there over a 10ft high fence to the next property. All of this with the flight feathers on one wing clipped. We could not safely contain them on our property and had to rehome them to a friend with more pasture.
