How well do BBs handle cold?

I have a trio of BBs that are a couple weeks away from their scheduled time of getting processed. The forecast here in lower Michigan is calling for snow. They've been outside all spring and summer without a real shelter except from rain which they didn't use. Should I slap some boards together to offer some protection or will they be good? Thanks in advance.

A couple of weeks shouldn't matter. If you get any significant snow they would need a place to get off it. I usually put down some hay for my turkeys to stand on after a snow.

I had no problem with BBs in snow and down to -30°F but I did provide them with a sheltered area that they could use to get out of the wind.

i dont like the way you treat your turkeys with no shelter at all that in my book is cruel

They will need a shelter for wind at least.
