How well do duck diapers work?

I did it when they were little and cute experience but wasn't practical. Still guessing it's not for 12 ducks but keeping my options open. How many times a day do they have to be changed? I'd like to bring them in sometimes.

To be honest, if you're dealing with more than 3 I don't think it's worth it. Depending on the diaper, age and size of the bird, they need changing anywhere between 1-4 hours during the daytime. When they're babies, it's more like several times an hour! Granted, my homemade diapers aren't as good quality as Sew Sammi's, so when I do get those ordered I can probably get away with leaving Wobbles unchanged for even longer.
