I have chicks that shipped today. I just got the usps tracking and it said that the expected delivery is the 11th. That seems late to me. Should I be Concerned? What should I have on hand if they do come that late? Thank you for any and all suggestions or advice.

Thanks, I took the week off so I could go get them asap but is there anything I can do to increase their chance of survival. I was thinking they would get here a day sooner when I placed the order.

I am no expert on this as I have never ordered chicks, but I've read many pros for using sugar water or the electrolyte mix for chicks immediately after getting them home. There are write a few posts on this forum that talk about this and it seems to me that it greatly increases the little babies chances of recovering from stress and heat of a shipping journey.
