I have a total of 3. One male and two females under the age of a year. My two girls hate me, they don't let me go near them really or pet them which is a shame, yet my cockeral, he LOVES me, he always comes up to me, chirps to me, lets me pet him and even pick him up! He's my favorite chicken, my cockeral is the nicest chicken, haha!
