Well I hope for you that this tiime when checking the eggs momma duck keeps her wings- and poop- to herself...

Well I fought her off the nest to find one dried fluffy chick and 4 smothered dead chicks. I feel bad that I didn't check again last night. I took one egg out of the nest that was cracked and cheeping and put in the incubator. So far looks like a healthy hatch on that one. When it dries I will get pics for you.

Oh No... So sorry to hear that- Dont be too hard on yourself - you didnt loose them all. In hind sight we have all got things in life we would have done differently.
