Thanks. Very good points. I hadn't thought about bedding material falling out every time the door is opened. This is why I ask questions. It's easier to prevent mistakes, than fix them after you've made them.

my own coop uses a single door and behind it is a removable baffle to hold back all the bedding.

That's exactly how I built my second coop, with a full size door and a slide out piece of OSB to hold the pine chips in mostly. Black Walnut might be cheaper right now tho.
