How would you protect your animals from nuclear fallout?

Pics
Now don't freak out

Well don't worry about blast zones because as I said much earlier in the thread, my friend from the Dept of Defense said we are well protected from actual ground impacts by the US C-RAM and Iron Dome Defense System we have....that's the system that will take out the incoming missiles well before they make impact (it's not guaranteed to intercept 100% of them if they send 100's of them all at once but still very close to all of them)....it's the same system we built/ sold to Israel. He said there would still be widespread fallout from them exploding in the atmosphere and an EMP but those aren't necessarily lethal.
Anyway, here is the Iron Dome in action

here is the the C-RAM

Pretty darn effective!
I’m not :p

Its not like I could do anything about it if it actually happened, unfortunately

You know they're actually developing cow feed that reduces gas emissions from cows. And if I recall, it's the burps not the farts. The cow feed with reduced gas production is sea-weed based. It sounds ridiculous, but there's some legit research on it.
I want a job like that! Get paid to hang out with the animals!

If nothing else, this thread tells me I'm not the only nut out there thinking about these things. And all the way down to the weedy details. I can count on one hand the people in my life I can talk to seriously about this sort of thing.
I can count the people on 1 hand to talk seriously about Anything! 9 times out of 10, if the topic doesn't revolve around them, they don't wanna hear it. So again I turn to humor, if they can't listen, at least they can laugh.

There is a 100% chance we each will die eventually. We could probably agree there is a less than 100% chance of nuclear war, EMPs, Solar Flares, etc in our lifetime.
After seeing the ravages of cancer, both friends & loved ones, & fighting it 3x myself, I can honestly say that when it is my time, I'd rather go fast & not linger to suffer.

What we notice is that propagation in general goes down on certain frequencies or disappears completely. Skips aren't as good or are 'weird' meaning short skips will disappear and longer skips may get stronger in areas where we generally don't see them. We have also seen short skips appear where they didn't exist before. My husband has made contact to operators in Australia using just 5 watts of power, which would be an example of a long skip.

During active sun spot activity the bands are burning up with activity. Propagation is at it's best.

We subscribe to space weather through weather.org and if we get a geomagnetic storm alert we make sure our equipment is unplugged and disconnected from our antennas. Our whole home is a Faraday Cage of sorts. Amish built, it is sided with metal and even our ceilings and roof are metal. Equipment is expensive though so better safe than sorry.

Most HAMS we know do have a hand held radio or 2 meter rig that they keep in a metal ammo can in the event of a large scale X or higher rated CME storm. It isn't unusual for a HAM to have a Go Kit that they can grab and take with them in the event of an emergency.

What HAMS are starting to notice though is that propagation also drops before an earthquake. There is evidently some sort of electromagnetic energy being released by the earth prior to a quake.

We are just going into the early part of the solar maximum. We've never experienced the maximum so it should be interesting.
Simple test...a typical radio. When there's so much static you can't even tune in the local station, 99.9% of the time, it due to solar activity. It happens more often now than ever before.

Electromagnetics...interesting energy coincides with earthquake as well as volcanic & severe weather activity. It's a very interesting world we live in!

Taking fruit pectin (I have apple pectin supplements in capsule form) will bind to radioactive isotopes in your system that has been ingested by food and water, and then is flushed out in waste.....Saved many lives after the Chernobyl disaster ....they gave the children apple juice
Wow there really is truth to some of the cute sayings...an apple a day keeps the doctor away 😀

I had apple & oatmeal this morning...apples are delicious 😋 just ask the deer that have been after my 2 young apple trees! 🍎 Brats!

Amen Wally... Jesus said to pray that you are counted worthy to escape these things coming upon the earth and stand before Him....and that's what I would prefer ....but I believe the calling He has given me is to stay here longer and help other when things get really insane....He didn't instantly heal me of brain cancer and send me to evangelize to Muslim villages in Pakistan and come back with my head still attached, just to go out some quick and easy way LOL
Ya never know, going out quick & easy sounds like a better way to go than other ways. I really prefer not to have cancer again, just fighting it 3x took a decade out of my life, and I'm not kidding.

A friend of mine had many many close calls with death, died on the operating table then revived several times, fought cancer & heart disease, seemed well during her 30s, then an aneurysm suddenly took her out. At least she didn't suffer, she only mentioned a slight headache then lay down for a nap, then snap, here one moment, on the other side the next...still in a peaceful nap position with a calm expression on her face. Sounds like a good way to go, to me.

The only consolation is having faith that you'll be greeted lovingly on the other side, no pain & no worries then. 👍 Live a life today you can feel good about tomorrow. (You're doing exceptional in that department) ❤️
