I'm Jessica from Corpus Christi.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes very new haven't even bought any yet

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
0 I plan on 6 after I build a coop.
(3) What breeds do you have?
N/a
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Cuteness, to have pets, and eggs!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Sewing and gardening

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Just my husband and two kids. We have two indoor cats. I am a radiation therapist.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
Backyard chicken reddit suggested joining and that I would find the answers to my questions.

Hi, 1. I got chicken almost a year ago. 2. Right now, I have 13 chickens plus 1 rooster 3. I have 2 easter eggers, 2 austra whites a buff orpington, wellsummer, cuckoo maran, black Cooper maran, one accidental Isa brown, 1 blue laced gold wyangotte and 2 production blue eggers of some sort a blue gem and lastly 1 moss egger rooster. 4.my favorite part in rasing chickens is of course the fresh eggs. 5. Some of my other hobbys are gardening, drawing, and owning other bird species like parakeets and button quail. 6.my other pets include my 3 cats ebony, daisy, and cheddar as well as a group of zebra fish, our dog coby my two parakeet blue and kiwi our button quail and of course our chickens. 7. I found byc through google.
