Howdy all from central Texas! I was a member years ago at my old place in town. Lost the two chickens I had to a predator, then moved to the country, rebuilt the old coop and we were given four hens which were also killed by a predator. That was between five and nine years ago. Just finished building a new bigger coop (needs paint) and have 12 sexed leghorn pullets coming up. Looking forward to tips and advice because I’m rusty! Thanks in advance!

Thanks! Yes, this thing is like Fort Knox! Only problem is we like to let the hens free range. This time though the coop is in our fenced in back yard (Almost an acre) so that should protect them from most non-aerial predators during the day...we hope!

BTW one cannoli IS never enough!! We have a grocery store with very good pastry area and they sell sell mini cannoli for 99 cents(too small) but, have to buy the bigger ones. They have many flavors also like tiri mi su cannoli's but I like the original best!
