(2 & 3) How many chickens (and what breeds) do you have right now? As of yesterday? 1 rooster, 1 leghorn mix hen (laid an egg after traveling for 40 miles in the back of our truck), 8x 3 week old those island red mix straight run from family flock and 8x straight run Polish crested chicks now 3 days
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Not losing many...

Wonderful wife, 3 great kids and a live in extra family member. We have a female blue heeler and now added chickens!
