Howdy, Folks!

UPDATE:
I now have one Australorp and one Pearl White leghorn. The Australorp, Jemima, has just started laying. Waiting on Princess to start. They are eating non-medicated Start-N-Grow and oyster shell. They roost inside a raised Little Tikes cabin on one of the two dowels installed for their comfort. They may choose from 4 milk-crate laying boxes floored with 1/4" plywood and padded with pine shavings n grass hay. They get kitchen scraps and especially love watermelon rinds with plenty of melon still on them. They are allowed outside to roll in the dust, eat bugs n plants, and poop on everything once a day, usually in the afternoon so they can let themselves back in at dusk. Then they're on lockdown 'til morning.
I'd like to get a Silver-laced Wyandotte and maybe an Aracauna. I think 4 hens inside a 10x10 yard with cabin is doable.
See my photos.
