Howdy from a gently thawing Michigan...

Hello all!

I've been lurking here for awhile soaking up the info but as we're near getting some birds I thought it was time to make it official!

My wife and I recently moved to the country, its a return to my childhood for me but she's been a city dweller her whole life so lots of new experiences for her!

We ended up with a few acres and the buildings from an old dairy farm long defunct. We'll be getting some turkeys this year and branching out into chickens next year. Looking forward to all the new things involved in raising fowl!

This forum has been a great help, just a wealth of info for folks like us that have never had birds before!
