HOWDY from Central California

I have decided after 26 years to rebuild my flock and so ... here I am. I live on 2.25 acres in the middle of wine country. At the moment I have 20 Mallards, started with a three peep rescue on Hwy 101 several years ago, (long story). I also have two koi ponds, nine horses, two dogs, CATSSSS, did I say SSS, and a whole lot of wildlife. I decided since I spent so much time on backyardchickens.com searching for information I might as well jump in. This is the first forum I have participated on or in or whatever you call it. I have been looking for what many years ago, (pre Ameraucana Club), use to be called Ameraucanas but from what I find now they are called "Easter Eggers." Back then I had 12 hens that layed five DIFFERENT colors of beautiful pastel eggs. I WANT THEM BACK !
Apparently, it's not going to be so easy.
