I've been lurking around BYC for a while, and finally decided to join! What a fantastic resource! We have recently decided to get chickens (again), and we are looking forward to our new feathered friends and fresh, delicious eggs! I'm thinking 3 is a good number for our household and yard size. I'd really love to have two standard size and one bantam, but I'm wondering if they would pick on the bantam because it's smaller? Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this?

BYC has a very useful Learning Center

I have several different sizes and breeds but the biggest thing I have found is if there is plenty of feed and space to roam the problems are reduced ..

Hi and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us. As Gander suggests, space and multiple feed stations are a good thing to have.

all the best
