I have a backyard garden, a couple loquat trees, and some awesome neighbors that I wouldn't trade for the world. The one thing i would like to add to my backyard, is a chicken coop. I am starting on a blank slate with this, but am good with my hands and am pretty creative. I just don't know of anyone in my area (52 between moon lake and the suncoast) that also has chickens.

All this being said, I am slowly doing research before just going to the Rural King and just buying chicks. I would like to have the option to keep them in a caged area during the day, and put them up at night. And we are currently in the process of redecorating our backyard, and also moving our raised garden beds. I hope to find some people that live near me, and when the time comes, can help me go over my plans, and give me some extra input. Again, probably not going to be started up this year, but 2021 i will hope to have at least 2 chickens in my flock.
