Welcome to BYC!

I spent many years in KS and one thing you will want to keep in mind is your weather (how it can change in a heartbeat). Be sure you get birds that can tolerate both the heat and the cold.

Have you checked out the Learning Center yet? Lots of good articles there for the new poultry keeper, try this link:

Let us know if you have questions. Good luck to you!

Defiantly check out our learning center. NorthFLChick has left you with the link.

The Learning Center is a great place to start! If you can't find answers to some of your questions, just ask. We'll be glad to help in any way we can.
