I am new to backyardchickens, but have been raising chicks for 2 years now. I have 27 new chicks on the way from Cackle they consist of Silkies(blue), buff orpingtons, Brahamas(light), Cochins(splash) and white sultans. I am interested in learning more about the breeds I have selected, and if you know any interesting facts or just raise them yourself I would love to hear your story. Thanks

That is fantastic! I have Buffs and 1 mottled cochin, out of the list you posted. They are my favorites out of the several breeds I have. So I think you did great at choosing
