Greetings from the huge metropolis or rural Rogersville TN. I am new here and will be getting started shortly with chickens. From what I have been able to research, the benefits to us gardeners from keeping chickens far outweighs any annoyances. (Benefits-natural bug eatters even the dreaded Japanese Beetles-downside-noise from clucking hens or calls from Roosters). I am grateful to live in a rural area where there is no regulation on keeping chickens-heck even neighbors can't complain if they are kept on their own property! Neighbors may not LIKE what you do on your property but can't stop you-how great is that?
