Greetings everyone!

It's exciting to join this community. A little over a month ago a friend of mine offered to gift me three chickens. I never had chickens before. So I bought a book and dived online to research everything chicken. During my readings I had determined I wanted to build my own coop. Within a week I had learned a lot and built a decent coop with run. Then I noticed the majority of the information I was reading about chickens was found here, in the BackYard Chickens community. I liked and added the Facebook page. Now the addiction has grown to actually becoming a member. I look forward to learning more about everything chicken with y'all!
