I wrote this introduction but it disappeared so here we go again....

My name is John.

1. I do not have chickens yet but I will be receiving a 10x10x6 dog kennel today that I will be turning into a chicken coop.

2. I plan on starting off with 6 chickens and see how that goes, maybe add more later on.

3. My friend has silkies and those look pretty cool so I think I'll start with those and once I learn more about it and about other breeds, I may branch out from there.

4. I found this site while searching about chickens online. I was also recommended to come here by a friend and local chicken lady!

5. Some of my other hobbies are working out, hunting, fishing, shooting guns and bows, camping. I like doing things outdoors and when I can get my wife involved, its that much better!

6. nothing else I'd like to share at this moment, maybe later on.
