some background:
we moved into a house with existing chickens and had no prior chicken knowledge. Those 6 were eaten by a local bobcat who also got a hold of a neighbors flock too.

Then we started fresh and made some changes to our coop/bin last April. See the thread here to see what just happened with them:

Now we have 1 1-year old leghorn hen and 14 new chicks a couple weeks old.
