welcome! this forum will sure help you out! We have backyard hens in suburbia and do fine. Watch your dogs around the hens and make sure they GET IT that they ARE NOT play toys! Our dog got a few of the hens to 'play with' and got a good smack down for it! Girls recovered ok and dog does fine and is careful around the hens now.
