Welcome from a fellow texan. Let me tell you something, all chickens are great fun but silkies are my favorite. They are affectionate, they interact well with you if you spend a little time with them. My group has- Look under things for bugs Saturday. Its their favorite game. If I'm not moving quick enough I have one girl that picks my shoelaces. Enjoy your future peeps. Raquel
