We just got 5 Buff Orpingtons on Monday. The first night was terrible because we had a bad storm and the power was out. So obviously we had a hard time keeping them warm. Last night was pretty good until about 4 this morning. We were awakened by loud chirping. We blew a circut and it just happend to be the one that the brooding box was hooked up to. Lets hope tonight is better. But those little chicks are so fun to watch and play with and we're looking forward to our new adventure in raising chickens.
