(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? My neighbor when I was growing up had chickens, I’m not allowed to have chickens but I have ducks and geese !
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have twelve ducks, some will be going to butch sometime soon, and eight geese.
(3) What breeds do you have?
two black crested, three Pekings and seven khaki Campbell’s
four embdem and four Toulouse
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Besides the eggs, they are so fun to watch,
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Art stuffs, and gardening, aswell as raising meat goats
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
As I said above I also raise meat goats, I have some retired 4h dairy goats as pets/weed control, we’ve got horses, of course dogs and cats and I have a African dwarf frog.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
When I got my first two ducks I ended up reading alot of info from people providing info on ducks here. I decided to finally join because im going to try my hand at breeding my geese and maybe my ducks and hoped to get some tips from the community!
