1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Not totally new.. had them as children. Currently starting 3rd year with our flock
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
18 wait.. umm 19.. no... 17 layers and a Roo
(3) What breeds do you have?
Plymouth Rocks, Australorp, Cinammon Queen, Easter Eggers, Prairie Blue Bells, Blue Stars, Copper Maran, Cuckoo Maran, White Leg Horn, and some home mixes of all those together.. lol.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Watching them... feeding them by hand.... and Eggs... Eggs.. and Eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Chickens... lol
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
5 of us... 2 dogs a parrot some fish and 18 or so chickens.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Found online during search for information while researching backyard flocks... about 2 1/2 years ago.
