Howdy All! I'm a middle school science teacher, wife, chicken, dog, and guinea pig lover and mom to a 4H and Boy Scouts loving boy. I work closely with our new agriculture teacher to bring more students to the world of plants and livestock in our rapidly growing 'small' town. All three of our chickens have hatched inside my classroom. We have one cross breed bantam that looks like a lighter Rhode Island Red, one Australorp, and one Plymouth Barred Rock. We will begin showing our bantam this year in 4H and my 5th grader is really excited about this opportunity.
