I recently moved to a small cabin behind my childhood home with 5 acres and a nice pond. I've been buying "farm-fresh" eggs from my administrative assistant for years and am now retired from higher ed. So I decided to start my own flock, starting with 2. Pondering coops and runs now (Omlet?). We do have a local "swap-meet" which will hopefully be reopened after we get enough vaccines... I've already sought out and reviewed a lot of resources and hope to make use of this one as needed.
