I just joined BYC to learn more about breeding chickens to their standard of perfection, particularly old English game bantams, Japanese bantams, and a few others... I have raised chickens with my family for over a decade and have continued to learn so much. I currently have eight different breeds, old English game bantams, French Black Copper Maran bantams, Japanese bantams, French Black Copper Marans, Buff Orpingtons, Barred Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, and Lavender Wyandottes. I enjoy breeding these birds with my siblings to improve them in all critical aspects. I also enjoy making hunting bows from wood, osage, oak, elm, etc... Hopefully I can learn something at BYC and be of any help. Thanks.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

Thanks. here is a bb red oegb cockerel we hatched at home. He is seven and a half months old. If you notice anything that can be improved, please let me know? I'm quite knew to breeding oegbs, so any information is helpful.
