Howdy BYC friends!

This is my first post and am so excited to be a proud momma of new chicks. This is our first time raising backyard chickens and it is already so much fun and they are still in the brooder! We are the proud parents (now that our kids are out of the house) of 12 baby chicks

2 GLW, 2 BR, 2 BO, 2 BA and 4 EE. They have truly brought us back to the simple loves of life.

Thanks everyone! I am glad to be here! I had a big adjustment this fall when my daughter went out of state to college. Making all of the plans for the coop and deciding on which chickens to get has definitely given me something else to think about and do with my time. BYC has been a great help!
