Hello everyone! We are from central Kansas and have been raising chickens for about 15 months now. We have 14 Buff Orpingtons (I think) and we purchased 21 R.I. Reds last April. I came across this site when I was doing some research about when one of my hens went broody and thought it looked like a great site to join.
I own my own lawn care business but am trying to turn into a full time natural/sustainable living advocate. I currently write a monthly gardening newsletter for my hometown newspaper and would also like to write books and do speaking engagements on the subject. If anybody has any hints or advice PLEASE let me know. I am excited about all I will learn on here!
