Just taking a moment to introduce myself. My name is Bud(yes it really is!)and I live in a small town near Abilene, TX. In my lifetime I have raised several types of livestock, but never any chickens. That will be changing very soon as my wife expressed an interest in chickens and that in turn brought out the farmer/rancher gene in my DNA, so I'm on board now. I will most likely be one of those folks who lurk on the boards reading, but rarely posting. I do look forward to reading posts, sure seems like there's so much good info here.
