My name is Brigitte, and my daughter and I have recently become enthralled with our new little flock. 2 standard Amercaunas, 8 bantams (2 blue silkies, 2 gold seabrights, 2 silver seabrightes, and 2 porcelain d'uccles) and 2 ducks (1 Cayuga, 1 khaki Campbell). Our 2 silver seabrights were both roos, so they went to a fellow 4H leader and farm owner, although my daughter is still planning on helping care for them and show one in the fair this summer.
I am allergic to soy, so I am making my own feed mix. I started soaking the mix as well. And most of what I have learned about feeding and making my own mix, I have learned from this wonderful forum. I have spent many hours poring over the posts on this list, but I have finally taken the time to join, and see if I can help as well as what else I can learn.
Thank you so much for letting me join!
