Y'all know there's people in 'homesteads' out in the boonies just over the moon with how prepared they are.
We didn't even think about preparing, we have like 6 rolls of tp (then we have a big stack of news paper), plenty of food and pet food, (we literaly just threw out almost all our y2k food, lol) plenty of firewood.
I couldn't tell you how the schools are doing at this point, I do appreciate how most schools are being proactive about protection.
My church isn't canceled, if if it gets that bad, we have Marco Polo!
I have a dentist appointment tomorrow, I'm wondering if it will be canceled, I need 2 root canals this month (because I was lazy about flossing) both are infected to some degree, so I'm wondering about that.

For me, schools cancelled, church is cancelled, everything is cancelled. There’s no supplies anywhere, and everyone is panicking. How is everyone else doing during this pandemic?
Texas seems ok but ohio is off the chain rite now with closures no supplies either up there. No baby food baby formula. It's crazy what are the poorer people to do for there babies. I wouldn't be surprised if the national guards dont move in and help out soon. People has to eat especially the babies. I used a food processor with mine but not everyone has a family member that has one .

Our schools are still open, but they have cancelled all middle and high school practice and sports events. They cancelled our teacher recruitment even this weekend, but that is it so far. Our governor has asked that all events with over 100 people be cancelled or postponed.
Our st patty's day parade is canceled but so far that's it. Dallas tx three confirmed cases and one as close as 21 miles away but so far so good

:pop I for one am sick and tired of the media whipping the public into a panic.
Regular flu is much more deadly....wash your hands and keep people at arms length.
I'm not worried about this epidemic. I believe there are many more cases they aren't releasing due to over panick in some . More than some. I have what toilet paper I bought last week and I surely dont mind wet rags if needed. I used to be a vegetarian so theres still plenty I can eat till this passes and it will. Remember 2000 no gas stores bare and what happend. NOTHING. we dye everyday from some sickness and I dont think this is any different.

As far as I know, our schools are are still open. Not sure if they are doing sports or not. It may be a matter of time, there are school closures about an hour and a half away.

My husband ran to Walmart last night and said the toilet paper was all gone. Supposedly other stores in town were out, too. Walmart was supposed to get a new shipment today, but I have a feeling it won't last. I am glad we still have 9 rolls left. Maybe people will chillax by the time we are almost out with their toilet paper buying shenanigans.

The stores were running short on canned goods, but we managed to get some canned veggies.

I am tired of the crazy hype. The media is blowing it out of proportion and people are panicking. You know, some jobs cannot incite panicks, but for the media it seems perfectly acceptable.

I don't think we have had large gathering or church closures yet. Hopefully we don't. I know of nearby events that have been cancelled. Hopefully this craziness is over soon.

Me, on three rolls of toilet paper and no way to get more...

I say that people will panic and stay in their houses for like a week, max. Then they’ll get stir crazy and come out, and everything will be packed full of bored people with nothing else to do. Good news, not much traffic!
