Here in Michigan we still have snow on the ground but our Elliot pheasants, Woodies, Mandarins and Hoodies have started laying nothing sitting yet.

My elliots and split mandarin pair have started laying. Last count the mandarin laid 14 eggs, but has not set. They were covered with down this afternoon, so I hope she will commit soon.

Sitting: mallards, manderins and reg woodducks. Laying: manderins, apricot, reg woodies, european shelducks ringed and cape teal, red golden and elliots pheasants. But I see heavy bottoms on alot of the other ducks. Looks like its gonna be a good year here. Hope everyone has a great breeding season.

my goose is sitting on 5 eggs. someone brought me 6 swan eggs.... should I put the swan eggs under her too? I have them in the bator but do not know for sure when they will be due to hatch. he thought they were about 3 weeks in. I thought maybe put them with the goose and let her hatch them, then take them and HOPE she would go ahead and hatch the goose eggs that she has only been on for a little over a week. would this work????
