Hubby? And general observations about chicken owners

Two observations about chicken owners:
1) Witty puns are a must. Case in point, my coop, Hennsington Palace https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/hennsington-palace
Also chicken names, Geregory Peck, Henjamin Franklyn, etc

2) Why do I see so many people calling their significant other (generally the coop builder), their "Hubby"? I don't see this outside the chicken community.

What gives? Also, any other quirks you've noticed?

I'm a noob but so far my only observation is they tend to be very caring & helpful souls!

I think it's more likely a regional thing. Everyone I know calls their male SO their "hubby"
