I think that MTV was just getting started about that time frame.

Everyone was testing the national census board to see what they actually could get away with. AC/DC had the song " I have big balls" and Nathareth's " Now you're messing with a SOB."
Videos of Michael Jackson grabbing his crotch and half naked Modonna were the norm at that time. 1982 wasn't even the start of home computers and the internet yet. The Apple I was one of the only computers on the market at that time and had to be manually programmed by the user to do simple tasks.
Not to give away my age but I had to learn how to make a program that counted from 1-100 and stop. Our kids better thank the few that took the time and effort to make the internet what it is now. This was never imaginable back in 1982.
