he'll probably change his mind when he starts crowing......maybe!

Make him dust daily. That should get old quickly. Be firm, tell him, "You can have the roo in the house but you have to dust a vacume at least every other day if not daily

.

The roo will be much happier outside with some hens. Try to reason with him using male logic. If he was the roo do you think he would rather be stuck in a house be his whole life and never …ahem… be with a hen. Or be outside with 19 other hens to do …ahem…what you do anytime you want? Hhmm 19 or zero… I know what I’m picking.

Oh - I think that's kind of sweet. At least he likes them.

I would be supportive as long as he cares for, cleans up after the roo. And I think he would tire of it in the house after a while.

Tell him, "Not in the livingroom, put him in the bedroom, on YOUR side of the bed, right next to the alarm clock." Of course, you will get awakened too, but I think that arrangement will last about a day... the roo will go outside where it belongs.

I don't think the house part will last long either, but i do think this rooster will be staying either way.
