It's just unforgivable that the first hospital put your husband in this situation. Thank God you've got him somewhere where they can take care of him.

I too have been following this thread and am so glad you made it to GJ. It is a shame what they put you through at the other hospital. I will continue to think about you and your DH and pray that all turns out well.

Take care of yourself and know that a lot of people are sending you positive thoughts and support.

I will be praying for your husband, you and your family...I understand how stressful it is having your husband sick.

I know how hard it is but you do need to make sure you get some rest and take care of yourself.

Just a few more words of encouragement and support for you and your family.

I completely understand about the ventilator. My oldest DS was placed on the vent after a brain injury last year (the result of an assault). It was the most horrifying event I've ever had to see in my life. BUT the vent does not necessarily mean more than respiratory support, which your husband needs right now.

So, don't forget to take care of YOU. It will be difficult for you to be there for your DH and family if you don't. We're all pulling for all of you.
