Hubby killed and butchered one of our roos today...

Try a nice slow simmer in a tomato sauce then add onions and zucchini toward the end and some red wine (I mean, you get to use a chicken AND some of that zucchini that you can't give away by the end of summer). Serve over egg noodles or spaghetti. Yum.
 
is there a step by step movie or pictures explaining on butchering chickens. I`m great at cleaning fish big and small so not worried about blood and guts. Stuff like how to cut the hole to pull the guts out and also the other end too. If there is a vidio that would be better but pictures in stages explaining would also be good. Thanks in advance.
