The vet visit isnt to bad...but to get anything else done, is insane...i dont bring my guys to the vet offten because i can do most things right here at home! But coupe had acouple lumps on him that we thought needed to be looked at..turns out they are just moles!!!
I would ask her of she has chickens! Maybe you can trade eggs with her!!

Arghh....you have no one to talk to because I am a horrible slacker! Is there a setting I can use to know if you guys have posted?
Do y'all write from your phones or computer? I can never seem to get to mine. Dang kids. Lol

I use my phone lol ...i never have my computer turned on, only to print shipping labels! Otherwise i use my phone..
You may beable to "subscribe" to the thread ..but i dont know what that does lmao..
Well LSzajko is living it up right now on a cruise to somplace way more amazing than here! So i guess its just you and i!
How is everything!?! Hope the heat didnt kil you today! I know my chickens are feeling it..just got back inside from checking on them, and my SLW Roo moved 4 of his girls on the roost out in the run. But i guess its a beautiful night..i hope nothing bothers them tonight :/, last night i caught a ferral cat in my trap...**** lady down the road feeds them all!! I let my dogs scare the piss outnof the thing and then let it go..it took off and while darting across the road, it almost got hit by a truck..i would of felt horrible!!! But hopefully, itll stay away from the coop!

Hehe...I am so proud of myself...actually checking in like I should! ", lol whew..it was hot today. The chickens didn't seen to mind. We decided to try out the ducks in the coop today. They get big...and stinky!!! So fast inside! They had a big pan of water to play in.... Kinda creepy of you think that I used to cook in it...lol. The chickens pretended that they weren't even there! By this evening, Skipper, our fawn and white runner decided he could chase the chickens around. They let him.lol the ducks are only 3 weeks old...so if it gets below 60 at night, I think we should bring them back in?? They don't want to go in the coop with the chickens...but they have their own little covered dog house inside the coop....they are in the back yard so I have my ear glued to the window....so far so good.
Ahhh, a cruise for lszajko....d'ohhh...I have to go back and look up her first name! But yes, a cruise sounds wonderful!

We have been closing up the chickens every night....we hear fox and coyote in the woods....but they haven't noticed the chickens yet, thank a God. We are hoping for a peaceful night.

I'm a total night owl, myself....speaking of which...I hear lots of owls in the woods behind us....do they bother chickens? The pen is completely closed in with chicken wire....but I worry.its what I do.lol
