Hey guys! How are everyones birds doing in this cold weather? Its my first winter with chickens and after the first snow fell I knew this would be a looong winter trudging out there to care for my girls

It's my first winter too. It has been horrible! I HATE the cold so I really need to psyche myself up to go out there! Been putting it off all afternoon.

It's nice to be back online in my comfy chair! Windows 8 is AWFUL...just sayin'~

Anyway...
I went to do some online banking yesterday and noticed 2 separate (and fraudulent) purchases...one for $517 and another for $500. Both were from a company called Pure Bulk, Inc. in Oregon. Spent most of yesterday afternoon and this morning on the phone with the bank canceling my debit card, putting a hold on the charges, etc. A giant PITA. I shopped in Target right before Christmas. I'm wondering if that has anything to do with this. The banks really need to do something!

Ha! I just upgraded my laptop that shouldnt have been updated to windows 7 lol im way behind on the OS thing..plus my laptop is crazy old lol
Sorry that happend to yoy! My BF had charges on his card around xmas aswell but only for $400. You just feel so violated!

My mom and I went to target and the next day we saw how everyones credit card info was stolen... my mom only used her target card so hopefully we will be okay...
I always have to get super motivated to go out too. But once im out and moving im alright. I got a pair of insulated coveralls from tractor supply and they help a lot!

If she used a credit card she's probably fine but she should watch her statements to make sure nobody has gone on a shopping spree. It's really disgusting how you can't even go shopping without worrying some jerk is stealing your information to sell to another jerk.

LOL Lexi. I was very content with the last Windows I had...Vista? 7? XP? I have no clue!! lol. My biggest complaint with 8 is that it's hard to switch from page to page. I keep going back to IE and reopening everything. At the end of the night I have 22 pages open.

And you're right...it is violating. Did your BF get his $ back?

I don't mind the cold at all. Got the black fibre\plastic waterers to break out and refill twice a day. Frozen egg here and there. This is the first year my rooster's wattles are getting frost bitten though. I'm glad I don't have to dip my wattles in ice cold water every time I get thirsty..

The BF has gone on a snowmobiling trip up at Tug Hill today!! His buddies from work showed up today around 10am and said they where allgoing and leaving at 3 lol .im so glad he went, he needs to have fun and alittle guy time.
